Unsubscribing from Email – how hard could that be?

Today I received one too many newsletter (not unsolicited) and went on a “unsubscribe” spree…

When I got to this form, I was not surprised by the instructions – although I maintain that if you have a well-designed form, minimal instruction copy is necessary – but by the lack of labels that the instrucions reference. Where, exactly, is the “Subscribe” or “Unsubscribe” radio button?

I can only assume that the first button, which is selected, indicates “Subscribe” since I arrived here with the intention of unsubscribing. And thankfully, selecting the second set of radio buttons did, in fact, accomplish my goal.

But really, this should be illegal. Clearly this page was “designed” by a developer. But even a bad developer should be capable of better than this.
